Triangle Tech CADD Program

Triangle Tech's Computer-Aided Drafting & Design Technology program is a combination of architectural and mechanical drafting courses, designed to help our students become skilled professionals who can turn a concept into a set of precise drawings. Our students graduate, ready to build their careers in an exciting and important field.

Employment opportunities for CADD technicians:

Through extensive computer-aided drafting and design training, our graduates are trained to be proficient entry-level drafters, CADD operators, estimators, specification writers, technical salespersons and perform in other technician positions related to drafting. Graduates earn an Associate Degree in Specialized Technology (AST Degree).

Computer applications and CADD I (AutoCAD 2D)
Manufacturing processes, mechanical design and cost estimating
Cams, gears, and kinematics
CADD II (AutoCAD 2D & 3D)

Residential and commercial architectural engineering and cost estimating
Statics and strengths of materials
CADD III (AutoCAD Revit)
Job communications, specifications and technical writing
Fabrication, welding, structural and piping drawings
Mechanical and electrical systems
CADD IV (Autodesk’s inventor)
