Triangle Tech’s admissions process is simple. Applicants must be a graduate of a high school, academy, or high school or a holder of a GED prior to admission. Applicants must participate in a personal interview at the school prior to enrollment.

Advanced Standing

A student graduating from high school may be awarded advanced standing only after he or she has submitted an application to the Assistant Director, who will administer the advanced standing tests and evaluate the results. A student who successfully completes the exam with the required scores will be given advanced standing at the discretion of the Assistant Director and an Evaluation Committee, composed of faculty members from the particular program in which the student will be trained.

Advanced Placement

A student transferring from another school, college or university may be admitted upon presentation of an official transcript of credits showing an honorable dismissal. The advanced placement received will only be for subjects pertaining to the curriculum at Triangle Tech in which you enroll.

Transfer of Military Credits

A student, who is an active-duty service member, Veteran, or member of the Reserves may be eligible to receive credit at Triangle Tech based on an evaluation of your military transcript. Triangle Tech will consider possible granting of credits based upon your Joint Services Transcript (JST) or Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) transcript. The advanced placement received will be only for subjects pertaining to the chosen curriculum at Triangle Tech. When applying for admission to Triangle Tech, you can have your JST or CCAF transcript sent directly to the Admissions Office for evaluation of possible transferable credits.

"Ability to Benefit"

Triangle Tech does not admit applicants under the "Ability to Benefit." All applicants for admission must have a high school diploma or GED.
